The Five Star Academy leadership development will be the positive intervention needed to help make our African American male students successful.
Five Star Academy
Five Star Academy will prepare every participating young man to become a responsible citizen and leader who is guided by the Leader’s Creed and Code.
I Am a Five Star Leader.
I’m a responsible man who influences others in a positive way. I serve people with honor and integrity, I am a leader you can trust. I stand ready and committed to lead others and I will not quit. I am physically and mentally disciplined, trained to be a five star leader.
A Leader Represents:
Honor – to treat others and myself with great respect. I treat others the way that I want to be treated.
Integrity – To live honestly, truthfully and ethically. I do what I say. I am the same in public as I am in private.
Trust – To believe in others and be a responsible person. I believe the best about others and build other’s trust in me.
Commitment – I count the cost before I begin. I choose to finish what I start.
Discipline – I do what needs to be done when it needs to be done even when I don’t want to.
